Job Description

+ Perform Export Control Classification for hardware, software and technology

+ Handle US re-export compliance tasks

+ Execute further tasks e.g., De Minimis calculation, Exporter's License Administration

+ Ensure data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation Tariff Code Classification

+ Tariff classification for Bosch materials, all divisions

+ Process requests and emails related to tariff classification, including reference creation and explanation sheets

+ Support tariff reviews and request missing technical documents via TDC

+ Conduct quality checks and verify tariff codes for accuracy and compliance

+ Ensure that data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in related major and 2+ years experience with Export classifications, or Associate’s degree in related major and 3+ years experience with Export classifications

+ Ability to read and analyze technical documents of Bosch's product portfolio

+ Self-learning and staying up-to-date on Tariff Codes and Export Control

+ Classification at both international and national levels

+ Collaborate with other departments, such as Governance and R&D (e.g.,) to ensure accurate TC & EC classification

+ Ability to explain and persuade others of the classification results in a professional manner
