The Consumer Category team is seeking for a **Product Portfolio Lifecycle Manager** to lead consumer PC portfolio.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the product portfolio strategy, pricing, translating product capabilities into compelling positioning that resonate with global customers & markets. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Global business unit, Alliance, Go-to-market/4P, Market category, and sales to bring products to market and drive sales.
Responsibilities
+ **Portfolio Strategy and Planning:** Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for consumer PC, including defining target market segments, pricing, product positioning and differentiation based on industry trends and customer needs.
+ **Product Development and Lifecycle Management:** Oversee the end-to-end product development process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches. Manage the product lifecycle, including product updates, enhancements, and discontinuations.
+ **Market Analysis and Competitive Research:** Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, track industry trends, and stay informed about competitors' offerings. Use data and insights to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
+ **Pricing and Revenue Management:** Set pricing strategies based on market dynamics, cost considerations, and competitive positioning. Monitor and optimize pricing to maximize revenue and profitability while ensuring value for customers.
+ **Go-to-Market and Sales Enablement:** Collaborate with market teams to create effective go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and promotional activities. Provide category and sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and product knowledge to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
Knowledge & Skills
+ **PC Industry & AI:** Deep understanding of the Consumer PC & AI industry, including market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer preferences specific to AI
+ **Product Management:** Strong product management skills to oversee the entire lifecycle of PC products, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support.
+ **Technical Aptitude** **:** Proficiency in understanding the technical aspects of Consumer PCs, including hardware components, software platforms, and performance specifications.
+ **Market Research and Analysis:** Ability to conduct product market research, analyze data, and gather insights to inform product strategy, pricing, positioning, and target audience segmentation.
+ **Collaboration and Communication:** Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, such as product development, sales, and creative, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and drive business results.
Education & Experience:
+ College degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Product Design, Marketing or Information Technology preferred
+ 7-10+ years of work experience, preferably in product marketing, sales enablement, go-to-market strategy, customer research, product management, at a global technology hardware or consumer goods company.
+ Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and customer journey mapping.
+ Demonstrated skill developing product positioning and messaging end-to end-and effectively manage feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Excellent project management skills with proven experience driving multiple concurrent product launches and initiatives.
+ Balance of strategic planning and meticulous execution to ensure consistency on a global scale.
+ Strong leadership skills including team building, conflict resolution and consensus-building, in a highly matrixed, global organization.
+ Ability to influence and lead virtual teams and interface effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional disciplines.
+ Passionate, driven, dependable, and transformational - a real change agent.
Soft Skills
+ Strong written and oral communications skills (English), including presenting and influencing with senior and cross-functional stakeholders
The pay range for this role is **$130,350** to **$200,750** USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
