    Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires:

    General Description:

    The Practice Director has overall responsibility for functions relating to the Continuous Quality Practice. This responsibility is inclusive of the oversight of personnel, services (current and proposed), and customer portfolio. The Practice Director will work with clients and partners in our Delivery, Sales, Sales Support, Marketing and other Practices to improve our existing products and services, identify new or missing offerings, rapidly correct gaps and better market our offerings for maximum impact.

     

    The Continuous Quality Practice provides market-leading engineering, transformation, advisory, and managed outcome testing services. We specialize in the areas of built-in-quality, performance engineering, automation, Test Data Management and other specialty areas.

     

    The Practice Director is responsible for supporting and in some cases managing specific practice based services that generate revenue ranging from $25M to $50M annually.

     

    • Practice Leadership; Leadership and enablement of continuous improvement; operational optimization organization scalability and employee growth

    • Leverage TEKsystems Global Services’ strengths and core capabilities to develop foundational set of services.

    • Work in conjunction with Sales and Marketing in light of market trends to derive an optimal portfolio of productized and/or vertical offerings.

    • Oversee the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects and initiatives.

    • Monitor project health and reviews deliverables across projects.

    • Industry Understanding of continuous quality, testing and Built-in-Quality

    • Responsible for the evaluation and potential redesign of practice offerings.

    • Development and design solutions for premise-based as well as geographically-distributed (off-shore) delivery models.

    • Development of relatively simple, yet thorough messaging around Practice offerings; their fit with our other offerings, the competitive landscape, target client profile, value proposition and differentiation from competitors.

    • Persistent education and research on relevant industry benchmarks based on size and scale.

    • Maintain strategic vision and establishing clear measurable goals; develop systems to measure our performance against industry standards and clearly articulate our successes and challenges.

    • Maintain a financially healthy organization

    • Manage to revenue goals set for practice.

    • Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization for practice.

    • Set financial targets and manage revenue and profitability expectations across the practice.

    • Collaborate with Sales to shape offerings and support business development initiatives.

    • Build and sustain long-term client relationships to drive growth and strategic partnerships.

    • Provide internal teams with regular updates on service capabilities and market alignment.

    • Represent the practice in key client, sales and internal meetings to drive alignment and results.

    • Enhance capabilities visibility through active participation in industry associations and events.

    • Address and resolve operational or personnel issues swiftly and transparently.

    • Share practice and project updates effectively with leadership and cross-functional peers.

    • Manage team challenges with fairness, professionalism, and HR alignment.

    • Maintain oversight of vendor and partner relationships to ensure quality and compliance.

    • Select and engage vendors that align with strategic goals and service objectives.

    • Set financial targets and manage revenue and profitability expectations across the practice.

    • Collaborate with Sales to shape offerings and support business development initiatives.

    • Develop clear, outcome-oriented Statements of Work (SOWs) that define customer engagement scope, deliverables, SLA’s, and success criteria.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    15+ years of experience in Software quality assurance, testing, or engineering, with progressive leadership responsibilities.

     

    10+ years of managing enterprise QA or quality engineering teams or full-stack engineering teams across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.

     

    8+ years Designing and implementing quality strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.

     

    8+ years working in Agile/DevOps environments, driving continuous integration, test automation, and shift-left quality practice

     

    8+ years collaborating with delivery and architecture teams to embed quality into the SDLC and product lifecycle

     

    5+ years of experience with quality metrics and KPIs, including quality dashboards, defect analytics, and risk-based reporting.

     

    5+ years of experience defining and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs) and quality-related contract terms with clients.

     

    3+ years of experience using AI/ML or predictive analytics to drive proactive defect detection or continuous improvement.

     

    3+ years of experience engaging in enterprise transformation initiatives, including QA modernization or continuous quality adoption.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

     

    • Bonus information: Enter annual bonus potential - Bonuses are paid out at the end of the year and are tied to a percentage of personal and company’s performance. • Benefits: Health insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO - 100 percent coverage for well visits, Individual and family options, Dental and vision options, Health savings account with annual company contribution, Coverage begins within 30 days of employment • Time off: 20 days annually plus six company holidays; After three years of employment, increases to 23 days annually plus six company holidays • Retirement savings: 401(k) with matching contribution; Profit-sharing • Tuition reimbursement: Up to a maximum of $5,250 annually for eligible courses/programs
