Performs and documents vital signs, I&O, rounding, maintaining of turn schedules while optimizing patient mobility and skin integrity. Positions patients and maintains turning schedule Obtains and transports all specimens as required Performs post mortem care Assists with transfer of patient to a bed, wheelchair or stretcher utilizing patient care equipment safely as needed. Identifies patients properly using the two (2) established patient identifiers. Safeguards property of patients. Answers call bells promptly and participates in customer service activities Performs and maintains competencies related to EKGs, glucose testing and phlebotomy. Assists in maintenance of supplies and equipment. Interacts professionally and respectfully with all members of the interdisciplinary team, patients and their families and guests Assumes additional responsibilities as directed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Good verbal and written communication skills One (1) year of experience as a Nurse's aide in a hospital environment is preferred Salary Range USD $25.18 - USD $25.18 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
