Biomedical Field Technician - 20+ positions

Our client in Pennsylvania is currently in the end stages of implementing the Epic across 40 hospitals as a part of an enterprise wide initiative. Our client will be installing 580 Masimo devices, along with other medical devices that all need to be tested prior to go-live.

Role: BMDI Field Technician

This role will be 100% onsite. Client will cover travel costs for non-local candidates.

Start Date: 9/1

Duration: Through Go-Live (4-6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Site walk-throughs

• Masimo hub validation

• Medical device-to-hub testing

• Device setup and cabling

• Connectivity validation and Level 1 troubleshooting

• Ticket escalation

Requirements:

• 3+ years of medical device service/technical support

• Experience with patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, etc.

• Biomedical or engineering certfification/degree preferred

• Familiarity with validation and cutover readiness

Compliance Package (takes up to 3 weeks):

Candidates must be prepared to move quickly through:

• Education verification

• FBI fingerprinting

• Medicals

• Child abuse clearance and training

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
