    Description

    Our customer is in need of a Project Manager to join their team. This is a 6 month contract with the potential for conversion at the end of the contract. Very strong likelihood of this converting to an FTE, as they are building an informal PMO to support the growing requests for project management support. Day to day: This person will have multiple projects that they will be overseeing. This isn’t a true PM role where they have a PMP and understands PMBOK. For example, being under the umbrella of infrastructure they work with facilities a lot. They have 2 construction projects coming up that this person could be leading. Working with the resources, coming up with a plan for devices/hardware, coming up with a plan for the deployment and working with the desktop team. This role is more of a lead role, specific to infrastructure. They may acquire new projects outside of infrastructure, as this department continues to grow. He or she will be responsible for coordinating amongst the various teams, collaborating with leadership to build the project plans, which may include resources and then driving the project from beginning to end, from a Project Management perspective.

     

    They currently have 12-14 projects specific to infrastructure, but they don’t have the people to support them all so they are turning down projects. The goal is to bring 1 person in, get them up to speed and if that goes well then, they will build upon that and potentially add more resources.

    Ideal candidate: Someone that has experience managing multiple projects at one time over the past few years. Doesn’t matter what kind of projects, but ideally infrastructure or IT (these are bonuses).

     

    - Looking for an experienced PM to help with healthcare IT related projects. Infrastructure experience a plus, but not required

     

    - Six-month contract to hire position

     

    - On-site candidate; min 4 days a week in the office

     

    - Skills include: project timeline build, testing plan management, communication management, task management, managing multiple projects concurrently, relationship building with various department stakeholders.

     

    - Salary range: Depends on experience, but anywhere from $90K - $120K

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
