Position Responsibilities :
+ The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing master data for inconsistencies and anomalies; assist as needed with the Master Data day-to-day activities; and execute projects driving Master Data integrity
+ Completes a variety of preventative maintenance tasks on customer master, item master, and other identified data domains to drive data accuracy and maintain a high integrity of Master Data
+ Perform complex data analysis and investigation for business requests to explain results and to make appropriate recommendations
+ Performs Ad-hoc master data analysis and assist with special projects addressing Master Data improvements
+ Supports with cross-functional projects that implement master data structures that support business functionalities and reporting
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s D egree, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting with 1 to 2 plus years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Quality domains, and MDM tools , MDM algorithms , data profiling, data cleansing and fuzzy matching or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 4 plus years of the above stated experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Master’s Degree
+ Experience working in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with VIP system (Vermont Information Processing).
+ Experience with Stibo (STEP MDM)
