Description of Primary Duties
Purpose/Role of the Position: The Student Program Assistant will collaborate with the Citizenship & Service-Learning department to provide essential office assistance and administrative support. This role involves managing day-to-day office operations and supporting various administrative tasks. The position offers the student hands-on experience in office management and organizational skills within a service-learning context.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Office Management: Assist with daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office resources.
+ Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and preparing documents and reports.
Occasional Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with additional tasks that support Citizenship & Service-Learning, such as marketing, public relations, and basic data entry.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Enrollment Status: Must be currently enrolled as a student at the institution.
+ Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software, strong organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail.
+ Experience: Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred. Relevant coursework in business administration, communications, or related fields is advantageous.
+ Availability: Ability to commit to a regular schedule with flexibility for deadlines and special projects.
