Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a **Junior** **Field Service Technician** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

+ Assistsin supporting DAO SOUTHCOMIToperations by performing tasks related to training, transport services, troubleshooting land mobile radio, SATCOM, andlogistics

+ Participates in warehouse operations, helping with the management and tracking of physical IT assets

+ Assistsinmaintainingpersonnel security and following USSOUTHCOM policies and procedures

+ Supports the U.S. Department of State (DoS) diplomatic pouch system byassistingwith deliveries and shipments

+ Helps provide special event services and supports logistical requirements

+ Assistswith country/location-specific services within the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)

+ Supports coordination of physical security services for IT assets and security logs

+ Assistwith the installation and setup of IT hardware, software, and communications systems

+ Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting for end-user systems and network equipment

+ Support senior technicians with maintenance, imaging, upgrades, and repairs

+ Ensure all assigned equipment is properlymaintained, tracked, and accounted for

+ Provide on-site user support and training for basic IT functionality

+ Maintain detailed records of service activities, incidents, and asset statuses

+ Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures during field assignments

Qualifications

Required:

+ Highschool diploma or equivalent

+ 0-3yearsof experience inITsupport,electronicsor field service

+ Ability and willingness to travel more than 51% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations includingaustereenvironments

+ Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and networking concepts

+ Ability to follow technical instructions and workindependentlyor under supervision

+ Strong work ethic andteam-orientedattitude

+ U.S. Passportand the ability to obtain deployment s clearances and medical requirements

Desired:

+ Associate’s degree inrelated field

+ Familiaritywith basic tools, cable management, and IT field deployment practices

+ Experience working in a DoD or federal contract environment

+ Previousexposure totacticalsystems, SATCOM, or ruggedized equipment is a plus

+ CompTIA A+ certification

+ CompTIA Network+ certification

Clearance:

+ Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

+ DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role

+ CompTIA Security+ CE

Location:

+ Doral, Florida

Travel:

+ Travel may be required based on operational requirements
