The Credit Decisioning Unit (CDU), which sits with the Marketing Growth & Innovation (MG&I) organization, owns first-line risk-taking for Card and Connect Commerce, and is accountable for first-line ownership of originations and account management risk-taking activities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate to join our team to support the Senior Credit Strategy Officer for Card & Connected Commerce and their leadership team. The role will be a critical contributor and lead various financial & communication initiatives, conduct ad-hoc analytics, and build executive level presentations. The role will have the opportunity to deep dive into Card CDU's sub-teams (Pricing, Acquisitions, Lending) and support the teams' various business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, operational rigor, and a collaborative leadership approach.
As a Business Operations Manager - Senior Associate within the Credit Decisioning Unit (CDU), you will support the Senior Credit Strategy Officer for Card & Connected Commerce and their leadership team. You will lead various financial and communication initiatives, conduct ad-hoc analytics, and build executive-level presentations. You will have the opportunity to deep dive into Card CDU's sub-teams (Pricing, Acquisitions, Lending) and support the teams' various business objectives.
Job responsibilities
+ Lead initiatives to ensure timely delivery of projects and programs, organize documentation and project plans in support of critical credit decisioning workstreams, including tracking and reporting on project plans, action items, and cross-functional dependencies. Assist with governance, audit, and control readiness of all documentation for Matters Requiring Attention and related Action Plan.
+ Development of executive management reporting and dashboards, translating complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making .
+ Define objectives and Key Results reporting and analysis of key business metrics and trends.
+ Understanding of credit portfolio dynamics and provide insights and recommendations to optimize strategic decision-making processes and related reporting.
+ Creation of business review and other executive management materials for Credit Strategy Officer and leadership team.
+ Organize Pricing & Capital Optimization strategic priority commitments and deliverables. Collaborate across Pricing and Lending teams to ensure successful execution, enhance operational efficiency, and drive accountability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Proven ability in strategic planning and execution, aligning priorities with goals
+ Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro+)
+ Strong analytical skills, proficient in data tools, translating data into insights
+ Proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent time management/prioritization skills
+ Proven track record for executing with detail on special projects / assignments
+ Ability to communicate with leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written
+ Commitment to process improvement and operational rigor, enhancing reporting accuracy
+ Strong relationship management skills and ability to work across highly matrixed cross functional teams
