    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Licensed Practical Nurse** to work at a Correctional Facility in **Polkton, North Carolina.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

     

    36hrs Travel Package

     

    Weekly Gross Pay = $828

     

    Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $23

     

    Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246 (Hotel-770 Meals-476)

     

    Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2074

     

    Feels like per hour = $57.61

     

    $2074 div 36 hours = $57.61

    Job Details:

    + 0730am-0800pm

    Minimum** **Qualifications:

    + **At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse**

    + Ability to build rapport with patients

    + Compassionate and caring demeanor

    + Familiarity with medical terminology

    + A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)

    + **Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away**

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.

    + Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.

    + Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.

    + Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.

    + Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.

    + Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

    + Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.

    + Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.

    + Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.

    + Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.

    + Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements

    + Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner
