    We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

    + Food Quality Assurance experience

    + SQF/GFSI certification or extensive knowledge

    + Quality auditing experience

    **Pay:** $26-$30/hr

    **Schedule:** M-F 8a-5p (Will move to an earlier schedule after training is completed)

    **Type of Job:** Contract to permanent

    **Location** : (Onsite 100% Conley/Forest Park)

     

    At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.

    **Compliance and Food Safety Lead** **Daily Tasks** : What you will do:

    + Build organic programs, implementation, and set up for certification

    + Responsible for handling Recalls

    + Updates and improves QMS to meet new requirements.

    + Uses data analysis to support improvements and business decisions.

    + Oversees team development and resource planning.

    + Provides training and mentoring as needed.

    + Aligns department goals with business strategy.

    + Represents the department in external meetings.

    + Performs other assigned duties.

    Compliance and Food Safety Lead** **Qualifications/Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent required

    + 1+ years of Food Quality Assurance experience

    + Recall and organic program experience is a plus!

    + SQF, GFSI certifications are a plus! SQF, GFSI knowledge is required

    + Valid Driver’s License required to commute between two locations in close proximity
