    Your main tasks and responsibilities:

    + Can performs gage calibration for the measurement instruments for which there is in-house calibration capabilities.

    + Interacts with calibration vendors providing calibration services for manufacturing measurement instruments.

    + Performs incoming inspection for designated parts. Fills out and files a Vendor Corrective Action Request for problems found during receipt inspection and/or manufacturing.

    + Participates in process improvement and scrap/rework reduction efforts throughout the manufacturing process.

    + Monitors vendor quality as described in the quality system.

    + Responsible for quality system documentation in his/her area. Facilitates compliance with procedures and work instructions.

    + Follow procedures according to ISO 9001.

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    + Associates degree in related field or 2 + years of QC Technician experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments required, e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.

    + Proficiency in use of Faro Arm or CMM preferred

    + Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
