Facilitate and perform the delivery of application support services including the preparation of cost justifications, business case development, alternative solutions and application requirements and recommendations.

    What You'll Do:

    + Establish and maintain a close working relationship with Supply Chain, Procurement & Fleet Operations (SCPFO) personnel, its customers, other departments, and cross-functional teams in the development, maintenance, testing and support of Maximo and other SCPFO applications.

    + Work with suppliers and SCPFO personnel to expand and adopt electronic commerce opportunities (e.g. Procure to Pay solutions).

    + Provide analysis and implementation support of new technologies that would enhance SCPFO operations and its ability to serve its customers.

    + Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current system technologies while identifying opportunities for SCPFO to adapt these technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

    + Assist in the development, coordination, and support of AEP's software tools in alignment with a forward-looking technology roadmap, jointly developed with the AEP IT organization.

    + Communicate application functionality to business unit personnel in order to maximize system capabilities in meeting process requirements.

    + Lead business unit focus groups and process improvement initiatives in order to prioritize and escalate system issues for evaluation and resolution.

    + Develop reports to research and resolve data, system and business process integrity issues.

    + Develop and present business documents and reports clearly, concisely and effectively.

    + Gather requirements and provide specification input, testing and support for new or changing business processes.

    + Prepare test scripts and documentation to support the application production migration process.

    + Develop procedures, quick reference guides and other documentation to improve usage of SCPFO applications.

    + Develop business cases and cost justifications to support business process requirements.

    What We're Looking For:

    **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study such as Accounting or Business Administration.

     

    (Or) Associate's degree with 2 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources.

     

    (Or) High school diploma/GED with 4 years systems support experience involving programming, coding, SQL querying or advanced reporting requiring complex table joins and multiple data sources.

     

    **Experience:** Minimum of 8 years systems support related experience (in addition to any experience identified above).

    Other Must Haves:

    + Maximo Supply Chain modules and Barcoding (ScanIt) application experience is a must.

    + Working knowledge of Maximo Item Master module and Cognos or SQL Query writing is a plus.

    + Position will also be responsible for the Maximo integrations with STORMS and Material Order Builder (MOB) in partnership with Work Management teams.

    + Maintain technical industry knowledge, an understanding of AEP regulatory/legal/financial guidelines and a working knowledge of business unit processes and procedures.

    + Possess the team oriented and self-motivated qualities necessary to be an effective facilitator and participant in business unit process improvement initiatives.

    + Provide advanced level system support and subject matter expertise.

    + Learn and adopt SCPFO “lean” initiatives and assist in the continued improvement of processes and application usage.

    + Respond to user questions such as performance testing, data integrity and problem analysis, and issue resolution.

    + Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills to communicate to business unit personnel in advance of any changes to application functionality, systems status and outage schedules.

    + Demonstrate advanced level of knowledge of MS-Office skills and reporting.

    + Prepare reports for the purpose of troubleshooting and data integrity analysis. Record and track system issues through final resolution.

    + Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership, business unit personnel, their customers and suppliers in order to promote the most efficient and effective use of business unit applications.

    + Supply Chain, Procurement and Fleet experience is preferred.

    **Expected Salary Range:** $95,000.00-$97,000.00 (USD)

    Compensation Range:

    $85,081.00-106,352.50 USD
