**Position Objective:** The Contractor shall provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the NIH ORS Division of Safety (NIH ORS DS) as a NBBTP Program Administrator/Analyst. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of scientific support services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the administrative point of contact for the NIH Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program (NBBT) in regards to trainee personnel actions.

+ Coordinate onboarding of trainees with NIAID and ORS program staff.

+ Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of NBBT program activities, including training sessions, workshops, and seminars.

+ Lead the coordination of travel logistics, repayment and general administrative support needed for NBBT trainees and the program at large coordinating closely with NIAID colleagues.

+ Manage the program calendar, including scheduling training sessions, meetings, and other program-related events.

+ Track and report on program metrics, including participant enrollment, and completion rates.

+ Provide administrative support for the program and the Division of Safety, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining records.

+ Develop and implement strategies to promote the NBBT program and recruit participants.

+ Facilitate communication and collaboration among program participants, instructors, and other stakeholders.

+ Provide support to staff managing program budget and resources, which may include tracking expenditures and ensuring efficient use of funds.

+ Independently analyze information and data to formulate conclusions and make recommendations for action.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

+ **Bachelor’s Degree**

+ **4 years’ experience with a BA/BS degree. Relevant experience may be substituted for education:**

+ **6+ years’ experience providing program analysis activities with a related Associate’s Degree.**

+ **8+ years’ experience supporting program analysis activities with no degree.**

+ **2 years’ experience with a Master’s Degree in a related field.**

Minimum Qualifications:

+ **Strong knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite. Expert proficiency in MS Outlook required.**

+ **Outstanding attention to detail. Ability to proofread and edit with a laser-focused eye for accuracy and quality.**

+ **Highly dependable, proactive individual with a positive “can do” attitude.**

+ **Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong writing, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.**

+ **Strong time-management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects at once.**

+ **Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks across a broad range of areas, learn new areas quickly, and adjust to changing priorities.**

+ **Ability to prioritize workload while considering changing needs, set deadlines independently and complete projects effectively.**

+ **Must be a team player and must be able to provide examples of this in either a prior professional setting or elsewhere.**

+ **Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge.**

+ **Understands, supports and adheres to ORS’s policies, philosophy and procedures.**

+ **Adherence to the highest ethical standards working with sensitive information with absolute discretion.**

+ **The ability to obtain a security clearance at the Non-Sensitive (Tier 1) level, including Suitability Determination and National Check and Inquiry Investigation with fingerprinting.**
