    This role will require someone to work on site in Cincinnati, Ohio on a full-time basis

     

    Our key Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with 4–10 years of experience in business intelligence and data engineering. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data systems, ensuring data quality, and integrating modern technologies into existing infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.

    + Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry standards.

    + Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies.

    + Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and production.

    + Create custom software components and analytics applications.

    + Research innovative uses for existing data.

    + Use a variety of tools and languages to connect systems.

    + Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists.

    + Implement and update disaster recovery procedures.

    + Recommend improvements to data reliability and quality.

    Experience Requirements:

    Must-Have Skills

    + Business Intelligence & Data Engineering

    + Data Analysis

    + DBT (Data Build Tool)

    + Snowflake

    + Advanced SQL

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    + Experience with financial data, especially in loans and regulatory reporting

    Qualifications

    + Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB)

    + Agile environment experience

    Education Requirements:

    Technical degree or equivalent work experience

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
