MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior VTC Engineer** to join our team in **Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and availability of video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and infrastructure, including endpoints, meeting room systems, network connectivity, and bridging solutions.

+ Possesses in-depth knowledge of VTC technologies, protocols (H.323, SIP), and best practices for optimal audio and video quality.

+ Has a strong aptitude for problem-solving, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with IT professionals, vendors, and end users.

+ Leads network performance analysis efforts related to VTC, makes design enhancements and recommendations based on industry best practices, and contributes to the development and implementation of VTC strategies and policies.

+ Mentors and provides technical guidance to mid-level VTC Engineers, and provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.

Basic Qualifications:

+ BA/BS in field necessary to assume VTC Engineer duties or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree

+ 9+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant VTC Engineer experience.

+ Must obtain a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree or higher in Voice Telecommunications Systems Engineering and/or advanced technical certifications in telecommunications engineering, technology, architecture, and strategy.

+ Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

+ Must have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
