    Now hiring for our Everett, WA location.

     

    The primary purpose of the Loader Yard Assistant position is to support our Equipment Manager. This position will support loading of dump trucks coming for aggregate and organization of the yard.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Equipment Operation: Proven ability to operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment like excavators, backhoes, and skid steers safely and efficiently.

    + Inspect tools for defects and wear and repair. Service or lubricate tools to maintain good working condition.

    + Forklift operation/ load and unload trucks

    + Wheel Loader operation/ loading trucks and pushing up materials.

    + Washing Equipment and Vehicles coming off jobsites

    + Handle building maintenance requests that are assigned through the supervisor that may include mowing grass, changing light bulbs, moving boxes or furniture, and any other related work duties that may arise in the facility.

    + Support and maintain a safe and Lean working environment.

    + Driving is a requirement of this position to complete duties, a Commercial Driver License is not required, but would receiver higher pay.

    + Basic Facility Maintenance

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications/Knowledge/Abilities:

    + Forklift Operation Experience

    + Loader Operator Experience

    + Valid driver's license and clean driving record required (CDL a Plus!)

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

    + Willing to submit to background/drug checks

    + Self-driven and motivated

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    + Mechanically inclined

    + Ability to work with different personality types and maintain great customer service

    + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to follow both verbal and written directions

    + Basic computer knowledge

    + Background in manufacturing, farming or construction environment is ideal

    + Good sense of how tools operate and their function

     

    Compensation  The salary range includes the minimum, midpoint, and maximum base salary values. A candidate's offer can vary depending on differentiating factors, including but not limited to education, training, or experience.

     

    This position will be Hourly, Non-Exempt, Non-Union paying between $25.00-$35.00.
