    The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a student with a broad view of national and global issues for a part-time position supporting our strategy team. This person, who will work under the supervision of SDL’s Director of Analytics, will produce a weekly summary of news developments relevant to SDL and provide special-project research to SDL’s Strategic Development Team. The latter features written and briefed findings. The selected individual must be an exceptional researcher and writer; a keen analyst; and a creative thinker.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Must be a USU student. All majors are welcome, though preference may be given to students with a global focus—such as international relations, economics, history, or any other field—provided the applicant can demonstrate relevant interests and study in topics relevant to the position

    + Exemplary research, writing, and analytic skills

    + Creativity

    + Superlative interpersonal skills, strong presentational skills

    + Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel

    + Comfortable asking questions and challenging conventional wisdom

    + Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US Person
