    The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Regional Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The potential candidate is responsible for supervising accounting and administrative functions for multiple dealership locations. This position oversees all branch accounting duties for local transactions, financial statement accuracy, and month-end close. The Regional Accounting Manager will lead a team to provide support and direction for maximizing departmental efficiencies and developing members of the team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead accounting/administrative team to provide direction of accounting functions to meet established company policies and deadlines.

    + Oversee and/or perform truck sales related activities for maintaining truck inventories, invoicing, accruals, warranty, posting to the general ledger, title work, and commissions.

    + Perform financial statement reviews to ensure accuracy. Research discrepancies and make correcting entries. Responsible for ensuring month-end close accounting activities are completed timely and according to deadlines.

    + Manage cash handling activities for daily deposit, post accounting entries, and research outstanding items for check, credit card, and cash payments.

    + Process accounts payable invoices in a paperless workflow environment and monitor workflow status so documents are processed timely according to company standards.

    + Provide reporting and support to managers for monitoring daily business operations and improving profitability.

    + Assist and coordinate with Human Resources on various functions, such as, payroll, benefits, accident reporting, onboarding new employees, etc.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Corporate Accounting.

    Qualifications:

    + Must possess a High School diploma.

    + A college degree in accounting, or a related field is not required, but strongly preferred.

    + Requires 5+ years of accounting/office management experience is required.
