JOB SUMMARY

The Crude Trader will play a pivotal role in optimizing Delek's 4 refineries and pipeline assets through the building and selling of physical and financial crude oil. This role will focus on managing and hedging financial exposure, utilizing trading strategies to express Delek's market outlook, and leveraging logistics and infrastructure knowledge within PADD 2 and PADD 3 to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crude oil market, hedging strategies, and logistics, along with strong collaboration and process improvement skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

+ 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

+ Master's Degree (Preferred)

+ Ten (10) or more years Experience in crude oil trading or relevant commercial experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

+ **Crude Oil Trading:**

+ Buy and sell physical and financial crude oil to optimize Delek’s four refineries and pipeline asset positions, ensuring efficient management of the company’s crude exposure.

+ **Hedge Financial Exposure:**

+ Hedge financial exposure related to flat price and basis movements to protect the value of Delek’s assets and optimize profitability.

+ **Financial Oil Instruments:**

+ Trade financial oil instruments to express Delek’s point of view and market outlook, implementing strategies to maximize returns.

+ **Crude Oil Logistics & Infrastructure Knowledge:**

+ Apply a thorough understanding of crude oil logistics and key infrastructure in PADD 2 and PADD 3 to ensure effective trading decisions and alignment with operational needs.

+ **Collaboration with Commercial Team** :

+ Collaborate with other commercial teams to enhance Delek’s point of view and trading strategies, contributing to broader company goals and initiatives.

+ **Proactive Process Improvement:**

+ Take a proactive approach to identify and implement improvements in Delek’s commercial processes, striving to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in trading and asset management.
