    ServiceNow Business Analyst

    Description

    Capgemini is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a proven track-record of designing and deploying best practice process solutions as part of a ServiceNow deployment. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Platform Architect and Developer to understand the critical business and operational objectives of our customers, and lead workshops to discover, engineer, and deploy ITIL and Service Management based best practices that ultimately lead to a seamless implementation of the ServiceNow platform.

    Key Qualifications: Prepare and lead process and platform requirement workshops with customer sponsors and key stakeholders to provide guidance on best practices, and document platform requirements Extensive consultative experience with at least 2 primary ServiceNow applications, including:

    • IT Service Management

    • Human Resources Service Delivery

    • Customer Service Management

    • Governance, Risk, and Compliance

    • Service Asset and Configuration Management, including a thorough understanding of the Common Services Data Model

    • IT Operations Management

    • Strategic Portfolio Management Document, communicate and validate business, functional design, and process requirements throughout the customer engagement Garner a thorough understanding of our customer’s as-is environment and identify areas of process/platform improvement in order to recommend solutions that gain process efficiencies, improve long-term platform sustainability, and increase adoption rates. Ensure all process related deliverables to customers are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomes Design and document user acceptance test scripts to validate that the solution provided meets the operational requirements of our customer Collaborate and contribute to the organization to support continuous improvement of our team’s abilities to deliver meaningful and timely engagements for our customers Maintain a high level of knowledge in ServiceNow products, processes, best practice, capabilities, and features.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of consultative experience in process definition, improvement, and re-engineering for customers who are adopting the ServiceNow platform

    • Advanced presentation skills, including the creation and delivery of professional PowerPoint presentations

    • Documenting client requirements as stories in the ServiceNow Agile module

    • ITIL V4 Foundations Certification ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator Certification

    • Experience being a Business Analyst of Business process Consultant for 6 ServiceNow projects- or less of large projects

    • Conducted minimum of 4 sets of ServiceNow Best Practice workshops for the client for 1 of the ServiceNow modules (ITSM,HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, or others) including:

    • Creating the workshop decks

    • Updating ServiceNow available workbooks for requirements capture or creating your own if ServiceNow does not have them

    • Analyzed client providing information for their current process related to the information covered in the workshops ahead of time and incorporated that information and discussion in the workshop

    • Conducted demos of the modules as part of their workshops in client instance or your PDI if client’s is not available

    • Led AS IS to TO BE process discussions with the client to help map their current process to ServiceNow modules and educated them on best practices based on ITIL for ITSM and other processes to align with ServiceNow OOB system

    • Captured client requirements as stories in ServiceNow Agile module or another agile system

    • If used ServiceNow Agile for capturing stories, mapped stories to Epics

    • Worked with ServiceNow architect to map put Sprint Plan and sequence of the stories that need to be developed based on dependencies and functionality

    • Acted as a Lead Business Process Consultant for the BPC team and provided guidance for all ServiceNow modules being implemented : Best practice recommendations, workbook creation, client questions

    • Validated captured requirements with the client, answered their questions, conducted walk through of stories and updated Acceptance Criteria based on clients’ feedback

    • Attended scrums and worked with developers to make sure they understand the stories

    • Facilitated additional discussions with the clients if developers had questions on the stories or requirements was a customization

    • Updated stories based on continuous client or developer input

    • Tested developed stories

    • Understanding and good knowledge of ServiceNow functionality of at least 2 of the modules (ITSM or HRSD ITOM or ITAM, Sec Ops – etc) and the difference between configuration and customization

    • Developed test scripts as part of UAT for 2 of the ServiceNow modules

    • Developed training materials for at least 2 ServiceNow modules and conducted client training. Materials included PPT slides and labs ATF Test Lead

    Job Description:

    A ServiceNow Tester SR is the lead in executing test activities supporting ServiceNow functionality based on business needs. This role works alongside the Test Manager and Developer to execute the lifecycle of test activities.

    Responsibilities:

    In addition to complying with Capgemini’s professionalism policies, the ServiceNow Developer is responsible for:

    • Execution of Test activities

    • Validating the ServiceNow Platform functionality following the test lifecycle

    • Creating test plans, test cases, and test reports

    • Executing** ATF, Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing**

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years’ experience developing on the ServiceNow platform

    • Knowledge of testing methodologies used to support the ServiceNow Platform and functionalities

    • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification

    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification

    • Certified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.)

    • Experience utilizing the Agile/Scrum methodology to define and deliver development work

    • ITIL V4 Foundation or above

    • Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX

    • Experience of one popular web framework - React, AngularJS

    • Ability to develop web services such as Scripted REST APIs and Rest Messages

    • Experience integrating to multiple data sources used to populate ServiceNow modules

    • Experience with standard methodologies of software development - logging, unit testing (ATF), code reviews, etc

    • Advanced scripting experience utilizing best practice formatting and comments in Script Includes, Business Rules, etc · Experience with upgrades and skipped update remediation
