    Job Summary

    The Enterprise Architect functions as a top-level strategic technology expert for the organization. Responsible for developing and maintaining the overarching enterprise architecture strategy, creating comprehensive models that span business, information, application, and technology domains. Establishes architecture governance processes, evaluates emerging technologies, and ensures alignment between IT initiatives and long-term business goals. Recognized as a thought leader with a holistic view of the organization's technological landscape.

     

    Primary Job Responsibilities

     

    + Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.

    + Create comprehensive architecture models encompassing business, information, application, and technology domains.

    + Establish architecture governance processes, standards, and principles to guide decision-making.

    + Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.

    + Design scalable and flexible IT infrastructure to support current and future business needs.

    + Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.

    + Lead and coordinate enterprise-wide architecture initiatives and projects.

    + Develop architecture roadmaps and transition plans to guide implementation efforts.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

    + Facilitate communication between IT teams and business stakeholders.

    + Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

    + Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

    + Mentor and develop the skills of other architects and IT professionals within the organization.

    + Manage and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and implementations.

    + Contribute to budgetary planning and cost analysis for major IT initiatives.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Organizational Impact:

    + Recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall department results.

    + Directs the execution of strategies established by senior leadership. Establishes operational plans for job area with short to mid-term impact on results (e.g., 1 – 2 Years).

    + Work requires a high degree of responsibility for resources and frequently influences business decisions made by senior leadership.

    + Typically has budget accountability for the department or sub-function.

    Leadership & Talent Management:

    + Manages a department or smaller sub-function which includes multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors.

    + Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans for department/sub-function to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental goals.

    + Typically, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with organizational guidelines.

    Knowledge & Experience:

    + Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project or program teams or manage across multiple sub-functions.

    + Typically, has mastery within a specific technical discipline/area or broad expertise across multiple related disciplines.

    + Typically, requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8-10 years prior relevant experience.

    + Various Cloud, Data, Containerization, DevOps, Security, etc. certifications
