Mary Greeley Medical Center (MGMC) is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Cardiopulmonary Services to lead our Cardiology, Respiratory Therapy, and Neurodiagnostics departments. This high-impact leadership role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a culture of service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage operations for Cardiology, Respiratory Therapy, and Neurodiagnostics.
+ Collaborate with medical directors to establish and maintain patient care standards and protocols.
+ Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and outreach services.
+ Monitor financial performance, volume statistics, and quality metrics.
+ Ensure compliance with accreditation, certification, and regulatory standards.
+ Promote a culture of responsiveness, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.
+ Participate in organizational quality initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
About the Role:
The Director of Cardiopulmonary Services plays a vital role in advancing clinical excellence and operational efficiency across multiple service lines. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with providers, staff, and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cardiopulmonary care and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered services.
Required Education, Licensure, Certification, Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
+ Licensed as a Registered Nurse and authorized by the State of Iowa to practice nursing or has active multistate license approved by the Nurse Licensure Compact.
+ Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
+ Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Education, Licensure, Certification, Experience:
+ Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
+ Knowledge of healthcare administration specific to Cardiopulmonary services.
