Description

We are hiring immediately for Skin Stretch Machine Operator\.

What you will be doing as a Skin Stretch Machine Operator:

You can expect to setup , adjust, and operate machine ry to various aircraft skins \. Your responsibilities may include \(but are not limited to\) :

Operating and Program Development :

+

Set up and adjust a tape\-controlled stretching machine

+

P hysically load required contours to shape sheet metal parts into various forms

+

Use DNC software to develop and adjust programming for machine operation sequences and speeds as needed

+

Maintain program files and setup sheets for future production efficiency

+

Consider the material characteristics being used along with the machine capacity

Tool Use and Inspection:

+

U tilize hand\-forming tools \( e\.g\. Dotcos , drills, sanders, shears, hammers \)

+

Operate power transportation and lifting equipment \( e\.g\. overhead crane\)

+

Regularly inspect tools to prevent breakage during use

What you need to be successful:

High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required

Minimum 1 year of stretching machine or related experience is required

Ability to lift heavy materials and tools is helpful

Comfortable using catwalks over heights ranging from 4\-15 feet
