About the Position:

In partnership with the Emergency Department/Infusion Nurse Manager and the Radiology Manager, this role provides clinical and operational coordination of patient care services within the Outpatient Infusion and Radiology departments. The position supports the delivery of safe, compassionate, evidence-based, and patient, and family-centered care, while advancing the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Riverwood Healthcare Center. It includes collaboration with the Oncology team to ensure clinical protocols and order sets are current and align with best practices for oncology care. The role also encompasses the provision of direct patient care in accordance with established competencies for Infusion and Radiology nursing.

What we are looking for:

Required

+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.

+ Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

+ Minimum of two years of clinical experience in infusion therapy, oncology nursing, or procedural radiology.

+ Demonstrated competency in the safe administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy.

Preferred

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

+ Three or more years of experience in an outpatient infusion setting.

+ Prior leadership experience in a clinical setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

+ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

+ Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification required.

+ Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

+ Certification in Procedural/Moderate Sedation from an accredited organization required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

+ Certification to administer procedural sedation required.
