Manufacturing Process Engineer

**Location:** San Fernando, CA

**Pay Rate:** $35–38/hr

**Type:** Temp-to-Perm

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp-thinking, solution-driven **Manufacturing Process Engineer** to take the lead in streamlining operations at our industrial plant in San Fernando. If you thrive on process improvement, love digging into data, and enjoy turning complexity into efficiency—this role was made for you. You'll work across departments, evaluate methods, tweak layouts, and help ensure our manufacturing lines run like a well-oiled machine.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Rethinking and redesigning manufacturing processes to boost performance and cut waste

+ Using AutoCAD and lean tools to evaluate layouts, workflows, and space utilization

+ Teaming up with design and planning staff to improve product design and production tooling

+ Working with vendors to source parts and equipment that meet quality and cost targets

+ Estimating production timelines, staffing needs, and costs to support smart decision-making

+ Applying data-driven insights and statistical methods to improve processes and forecast needs

+ Championing continuous improvement and collaborating on Kaizen and lean projects

+ Keeping quality, safety, and efficiency front and center, every step of the way

What You Bring to the Table

+ Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)

+ 1–2+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, preferably in fast-paced production environments

+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD, and assembly line operations

+ A mindset for analysis and innovation—you’re constantly looking for better ways to do things

+ Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

+ Solid understanding of vendor relationships, tooling, layout planning, and cost analysis

+ Hands-on, collaborative approach—you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves

**Pay Details:** $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
