    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled **Flight Readiness Technician** to support T-7 aircraft operations at Edwards Air Force Base. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the operational safety and performance of advanced aerospace systems while working alongside industry experts in a high-impact environment.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of T-7 aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, comm/nav, and instrumentation systems.

    + Diagnose and repair component-level faults using technical orders, schematics, and diagrams.

    + Operate and maintain ground support equipment.

    + Open/remove aircraft panels (non-C&R) to complete inspections and repairs.

    + Document maintenance actions in compliance with USAF and company policies.

    + Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and tool control regulations.

    + Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior technicians.

    + Assist in flight test programs, scheduled maintenance, and readiness operations.

    + Participate in inspections and safety programs, reporting any compliance concerns.

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5–7 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.

    + Strong leadership and supervisory experience in maintenance environments.

    + Flexibility to support rotating shifts as required.

    + Solid understanding of aircraft technical data and maintenance directives.

    + Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality management systems.

    + Proficiency with schematics, circuits, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces.

    Security Requirements:

    + **This position requires a security clearance**

    + Compliance with all cybersecurity and information security protocols.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience supporting **Development or Flight Test Programs** .

    + Familiarity with **DoD systems** (AFTO 781 forms, IMDS).

    + Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and QA systems.

    + Background working with US government personnel.

    **Pay Details:** $34.99 per hour
