Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a commercial building. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, orderly, and safe for employees, tenants, and visitors.

**Pay:** $17.60 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

**Shift:** Work Days (Monday - Friday) Hours Available ( 3rd Shift 8:30pm - 5am)

Key Responsibilities:

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

+ Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors

+ Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners

+ Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

+ Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment

+ Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

+ Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

+ Lock and unlock doors as required

+ Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

+ Perform other cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

+ Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

+ Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs

+ Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Work Environment:

+ Indoor commercial building setting

+ Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment

+ May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
