    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman HVAC Technicians** for projects located in the **Durham, NC area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$28-32/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Inspect HVAC systems and their components: heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.

    + Evaluate condition of units

    + Identify necessary repairs

    + Recommend preventive maintenance

    + Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities

    + Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure ongoing functioning of HVAC systems

    + Repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components: pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.

    + Diagnose problems and provide technical guidance and assistance to assigned employees

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience

    + Valid driver's license

    + Must have reliable transportation to use onsite

    + Able to develop plans, troubleshoot systems, etc.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

    + All PPE

    + Basic hand, power tools, multi-meter, voltage tester, thermometer, and psychrometer
