    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Sprinkler Fitters** for projects located in **Rochester, NY** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **$23-29/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Install, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems

    + Cut, fit, assemble, and secure pipes/tubes/fittings by welding, brazing,cementing, soldering, and threading

    + Select pipe sizes, related materials (supports, hangers, hydraulic cylinders)as per specs

    + Perform installation, service, repair, and upgrades on all types of firesprinkler systems (experience with dry systems a plus)

    + Install plumbing fixtures, replace defective/outdated sprinklers

    + Solder, weld pipes, tubes, and fittings as needed

    + Review project drawings and perform install to spec

    + Retrofit buildings and install new systems in residential/commercialstructures

    + Install/replace/repair valves, gauges, and equipment to monitor waterflow

    + Ensure all plumbing/electrical work is finished before installing systems

    Requirements

    + Journeyman or apprentice-level sprinkler fitter

    + Good experience in fire sprinkler system installation and service

    + Precision and accuracy in work

    + Experience with dry systems (huge plus)

    + Able to interpret drawings/specs

    + Willing/able to perform both installation and repair/service work
