Familiarity with ISO standards, MIL-SPEC compliance, and experience leading continuous improvement efforts will set you apart.

    Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and convert engineering drawings into clear, efficient shop floor instructions

+ Plan and document weld sequences and fabrication work steps

+ Perform make/buy analyses and create accurate material demand plans

+ Create/edit raw material requirements and update engineering BOMs

+ Generate burn profile sketches and NC burn programs/nests for plate parts

+ Own and coordinate the full product build process-from kickoff to ship out

+ Ensure manufacturing equipment and work cells meet build sequence needs

+ Conduct daily shop floor audits to verify compliance and uncover improvement areas

+ Participate in DFM reviews, lessons learned, and process blueprinting

+ Collaborate with planning, design, and procurement to ensure efficient production

+ Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and mechanical issues on the floor

+ Define standard work and implement ergonomic workstation layouts

+ Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives

    + Review and process ECOs/ECNs

+ Select and justify capital equipment investments

+ Implement custom tools and fixtures to enhance performance

+ Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture

You've learned about what you'll be doing, here are the benefits you'll gain when you join Jered:
