    Job Summary

    RDSI has an opening for a senior Electronic Engineer in their North Kingstown, RI location. The successful candidate will provide technical support for submarine torpedo operation, hardware, and testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze, Design, and Develop PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.

    + Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts and solutions.

    + Interface with Government and Navy representatives.

    Requirements

    Must have minimum experience with one or more of the following work areas:

    + Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated submarine and torpedo subject matter experience.

    + Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.

    + General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware and software.

    + Able to interact with high level fleet personnel.

    + Perform system integration tasks.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

    + Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

    + Excellent oral and written skills.

    + Must possess good interpersonal skills.

    + General knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
