Minimum Qualifications:

+ Associates of Applied Science

+ Graduate of an accredited radiology program

+ 3+ years of experience **Required Certifications:**

+ American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R)

+ American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-VI) or American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-CV)

+ Texas Medical Board certification (MRT)

+ American Heart Association (BLS)

+ America Heart Association ACLS and PALS obtained within 6 months of hire

Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist II position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of routine to complex body and neuro interventional procedures to include common and unique procedures of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of Interventional Radiology. The Interventional Technologist II position serves as a mentor to the Interventional Technologist I and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging Interventional procedures and patient care situations. The Interventional Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all Interventionalprocedures. This position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to Interventional Radiology exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
