Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to join our community banking lending team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, and a strong interest in developing customer relationships, analyzing financial information, and supporting the growth of loans for the bank

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provides excellent service to both current and prospective loan customers

+ Gives financial advice and counsel to customers

+ Contributes to profitability and growth of the bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships

+ Actively cross-sells appropriate banking products & services to new and existing customers and refers clients to other banking areas for additional needs

+ Analyzes and forms decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits, or makes recommendations to a superior or loan committee

+ Manages a portfolio of loans to ensure compliance with terms and conditions

+ Coordinates lending activities with others in the organization

+ Coordinates and communicates with Branch Manager to assist with rotations of opening, closing, lunch periods, etc.

+ Serves as the main point of contact for loans in assigned branches and serve as backup contact for other branches

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

+ 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial lending, banking, or financial analysis.

+ Good understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with banking systems is a plus.

+ Must maintain registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
