Description

A growing family law practice is seeking a skilled and empathetic Family Law Attorney to manage cases involving divorce, custody, and support issues. You’ll work directly with clients and handle your own caseload with autonomy.

Responsibilities:

+ Help clients in a full range of family law matters including dissolution, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, restraining orders, and property division

+ Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and declarations

+ Collaborate with clients to develop case strategy and ensure they are informed throughout the process

+ Oversee and coordinate with support staff on calendaring, filings, and document preparation

+ Maintain detailed and organized case files while meeting deadlines and court requirements

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 3–7 years of experience practicing family law in California

+ Proficient in discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiation

+ Member of the California Bar in good standing

+ Outstanding communication, time management, and client-relations skills

+ Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-conflict situations
