In this unarmed patrol position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. This post is primarily a driving role, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required, following communication protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during the shift.

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
