Payrate: $24.00 per hour

Be at least 21+ years of age

1. _Be a partner in the education of the Community regarding the role and profile of Security Operations_

2. _Act as an ambassador and assist in the education of the Community on basic safety and security principles_ _including “drafting” and asset protection as well as the safety and security tools and resources available to them_

3. _Perform alarm response functions to include perimeter doors, interior doors and high value areas and other areas as_ _defined_

4. _Inspect and observe all assigned areas of responsibility for suspicious activity, safety and security hazards, criminal activity,_ _unsafe conditions, persons in need of assistance or any other unusual condition and effectively report all such incidents_ _immediately_

5. _Greet, assist and interact with a variety of persons, including employees, customers, visitors, contractors, public safety_ _officials, and the public_

6. _Play a role in the access control of employees, visitors, and contractors_

7. _Respond, compile and report all information regarding theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur_

8. _First responder to security, ERT, and safety incidents._

9. _Provide limited investigative tasks, both preliminary and follow-up_

10. _Provide limited emergency response support_

11. _Provide break relief, as directed, to other security or reception personnel_

12. _Escort employees to their vehicles, either physically or virtually (i.e. telephone, camera)_

13. _Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipment_

14. _Assist in the completion of audit and/or assessments within assigned areas of responsibility_

15. _Other duties as agreed upon by the parties_

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21+ years of age

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
