Description
Our client, a busy mid-sized litigation firm in San Francisco, is seeking a skilled Employment Law Paralegal to support attorneys in a high-volume practice focused on wage & hour, discrimination, and wrongful termination claims.
Responsibilities:
+ Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
+ Assist attorneys in the preparation of motions, pleadings, and briefs for state and federal court
+ Conduct detailed legal research and fact investigations related to employment claims including wage and hour, harassment, and wrongful termination
+ Prepare case chronologies, witness binders, and trial exhibits
+ Coordinate depositions, mediations, and court hearings, including calendaring and managing logistics
+ Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines using docketing systems
+ Support attorneys with client communication and intake as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
+ Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience with a focus on employment litigation
+ Strong knowledge of California labor/employment law, including PAGA and FEHA claims
+ Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts
+ Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
