    Position Summary

    CVS Health is seeking an experienced and agile **Workday Security Configuration Lead** to join our Technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architecture that ensures compliance, data privacy, and operational efficiency.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, configure, test and implement security roles, domain and business process security policies across Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management and Payroll modules.

    + Maintain, audit, and enhance Workday security architecture in accordance with segregation of duties (SoD) principles.

    + Collaborate with Product leads and Business owners to analyze security requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

    + Translate business requirements for new roles and security enhancements to effectively deploy Workday security solutions.

    + Manage security impact assessments for new functionality, integrations, and organizational changes.

    + Ability to configure advanced Workday security solutions, including segmented, intersection, role based, and authentication policies.

    + Research, troubleshoot, resolve and test security-related issues, including access discrepancies and policy conflicts.

    + Perform regular audits and produce reports to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

    + Develop and maintain documentation on security architecture, policies, and procedures.

    + Stay informed on Workday updates and evaluate their impact on existing security configuration.

     

    This role may work Hybrid (1-2 days a week onsite) in one of our hubs in Richardson, TX; Scottsdale, AZ; Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI or can be Full-Time Remote.

    Required Qualifications

    + 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Security, including role-based and user-based configuration and testing

    + 3+ years' experience working with Workday security domains, business process security, custom security groups, and delegated permissions

    + 3+ years' experience with Workday HCM, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management & Payroll modules

    + 2+ years' experience with SOX audit, risk management, and compliance frameworks related to access management with experience in working with internal audit or compliance teams

    + 2+ years' experience with Workday reporting (custom reports, dashboards) to support security auditing and monitoring

    + 2+ years' experience translating business requirements into secure and scalable Workday security solutions

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with mergers/acquisitions and the impact on security configuration

    + Exposure to Workday Extend and Prism Analytics security

    + Agile and Product model exposure

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    + Workday certifications in Security, or relevant modules

    + Strong research and analytical skills

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $83,430.00 - $222,480.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
