Our Georgia facility has more than 25 engineers, scientists and technicians co-located with our 60,000 square foot R&D, laboratory, prototyping, testing, and production facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Design, Qualification, Metallurgical, Corrosion, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Fatigue, Tensile, Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Micro Sectioning, Hardness, Porosity, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, Impact, Wear, etc.)

+ Design Engineering (FEA, Fatigue)

+ Engineering Drawings (AutoCAD)

+ Solid Modeling (SolidWorks, ProE, and/or CATIA)

+ Robot Programming (Fanuc and/or ABB products)

+ Technical Data Publication and Review

+ Perform other duties as requested

Candidate Skills & Capabilities:

+ Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling

+ Technical Writing

+ Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

+ Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical and Corrosion Testing a plus

+ Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis a plus

+ CNC Programming and machining experience is a plus

+ Robot Programming a plus

+ Electrical Experience a plus

Education and Experience Required:

+ Bachelor’s Degree (Metallurgical, Materials Science and Engineering) from an ABET accredited university or college. Master’s Degree is a plus.

+ Entry Level to 8 years of related experience

+ Aerospace Industry experience a plus

Other Requirements:

+ Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

+ As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

+ Ability to travel if required.
