**Work location:** Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

**Work hours:** PRN-As Needed/Rotating; Variable Shifts; Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call requirements

Here’s What You Need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• 1year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred

• CNA – Certified Nurses Aide upon hire preferred or

• MA – Medical Assistant upon hire preferred or

• EMT – Emergency Medical Technician upon hire preferred and

• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do:

• Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures

• Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient

• Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures

• Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures

• Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk
