Responsibilities

**Mercy Medical Group (MMG)** , a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights:

+ Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom

+ Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year

+ Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program

+ 24 hour back-up Ob on-call.

+ Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.

+ Five 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call). Additional compensation provided for back-up shifts.

+ Additional compensation provided for holidays and doing additional shifts.

+ Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center

+ Shareholder track opportunity

+ Active board certification required.

+ Compensation Range: $334,500- $334,500

Qualifications

+ MD or DO degree

+ Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA)

+ Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)

+ DEA certification

+ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

+ Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
