    Job Title: Skilled Laborer

    Job Description

    Join our dedicated team as a Skilled Laborer working closely with the crew foreman to replace water lines throughout Marion County. This role requires hands-on involvement in pipe laying and plumbing tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment and gathering necessary materials for each project.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate effectively as part of a team of 4-5 to carry out water piping replacements.

    + Receive training in proper procedures from foremen and leads.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    + Gather necessary materials and load them into the work truck for projects, which may vary from day-to-day or weekly tasks.

    + Engage in hands-on replacement of water lines and pipes under the guidance of foremen.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience as a laborer specifically in water/sewer and/or pipe laying.

    + Valid Driver's License.

    + Safety training certification.

    + Ability to lift 50+ pounds independently.

    + OSHA 10/30 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Any other construction certification.

    + Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, and vac trucks.

    + CDL (Class A or Class B with tanker endorsement).

    Hours & Pay

    + 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

    + based on a 40-50 hour work week

    + $25 - $30, based on experience

    Work Environment

     

    Experience a dynamic construction environment where getting your hands dirty is part of the job. Work outdoors, exposed to various weather elements and dressed appropriately for Indiana's seasonal changes. Required attire includes steel-toe boots, jeans (without holes), and shirts with sleeves.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
