We are looking for:
Serve as the Maintenance and Reliability Excellence Engineer for the Piedmont, SC site. Lead the implementation of best practices in maintenance and reliability, including work order management, storeroom optimization, proactive reliability, and improvement of recurring equipment issues (“Bad Actors”).
We count on you for:
1. Maintenance Routine Excellence
+ Consolidate and standardize maintenance practices across sites.
+ Implement early failure detection, effective notifications, and digital tools (e.g., Neptune) to improve planning, scheduling, and productivity.
+ Provide training and coaching on work order management processes, including notification creation, prioritization, planning, scheduling, and precision maintenance.
+ Monitor and improve data quality in SAP and track key maintenance and reliability KPIs.
+ Conduct Wrench Time Analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Asset Reliability
+ Develop and maintain asset registries and update P&IDs.
+ Perform equipment criticality evaluations and FMEA to optimize maintenance strategies.
+ Create, modify, and deactivate preventive maintenance (PM) tasks; identify and manage critical spares and equipment BOMs.
+ Identify and address “Bad Actors” using OEE and SAP data; facilitate root cause failure analysis.
+ Standardize PMs and implement predictive and autonomous maintenance programs.
3. Reactive Reliability Improvement
+ Analyze and report on OEE, maintenance costs, and losses due to reliability issues.
+ Develop and implement action plans to address “Bad Actors.”
+ Train and coach teams on failure analysis tools and processes; establish governance for tracking and verifying corrective actions.
4. Contractor and Storeroom Management
+ Oversee contractors for reliability improvement, work order management, storeroom optimization, and condition monitoring.
+ Ensure MRO inventory is properly identified, quantified, and optimized.
5. Asset Lifecycle and Capex Management
+ Optimize asset lifecycle and sustainability; track lifecycle costs.
+ Support sites in developing 5-year M&R Capex budgets.
You will bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
+ Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred; CRL or other relevant reliability certifications are a plus.
+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficient in SAP ECC is a must.
+ Hands-on experience with equipment criticality evaluation, FMEA, preventive maintenance (PM) creation, and critical spares evaluation (required).
+ Experience implementing predictive maintenance tools and programs (required).
+ Strong knowledge of industrial equipment best practices (e.g., vibration analysis, lubrication, alignment, precision maintenance).
+ Demonstrated compliance with HSE requirements, regulations, and company policies.
+ Proven leadership and communication skills; able to effectively interact with technical and operations teams.
+ Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement in high-quality, safety-focused environments.

+ The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $124,000 to $145,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
