• Production Superintendent - Commerical Roofing

    WHO IS THIS POSITION FOR?

     

    We’re looking for a strong leader with a background in commercial roofing or construction, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and deadlines. You’ll be expected to tackle problems head-on, manage projects effectively, and ensure our customers are always satisfied.

    What You’ll Need:

    + A background in roofing systems or construction.

    + Ability to lead teams effectively and communicate clearly.

    + OSHA 30 certification (preferred but not required).

    + Strong mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.

    + A commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    On-Site:

    + Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with all stakeholders.

    + Direct and prioritize production activities to meet operational and cost goals.

    + Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and resources.

    + Review reports and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality standards.

    + Attend pre-construction meetings to finalize project details.

    + Promote job site safety, conduct safety audits, and rectify hazards promptly.

    + Maintain inventory control and ensure the warehouse is organized and stocked.

    Supervisory:

    + Directly supervise 30+ employees in the Commercial Roofing Department.

    + Participate in hiring, training, and performance management.

    + Mentor and coach team members to improve skills and performance.

    + Reward and discipline employees as needed and conduct annual performance reviews.

    + Address employee concerns and resolve issues promptly.

    Office/Documentation:

    + Develop and implement processes to improve production quality and eliminate problems.

    + Maintain daily logs, document project activities, and track scheduling.

    + Ensure accurate record-keeping for labor hours, project activities, and invoices.

    + Review and approve invoices related to your projects.

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    + Physical, drug screening, and background check.

    + Valid driver’s license required with a clean record.
