    Job Overview

    We are hiring a Senior Commercial Painting Estimator to lead our estimating work and contribute to the growth of our small but highly technical painting company. This individual will help evaluate incoming leads, assign work to remote takeoff technicians, manage pricing and proposal creation, and help us scale with strong systems and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Review daily commercial and industrial leads for new construction, repainting, and coating projects

    + Select and prioritize jobs based on company profile and capacity

    + Assign takeoff tasks using eTakeoff to remote estimators and junior staff

    + Perform takeoffs as needed

    + Price estimates in Sage 100 Contractor using Pro-Spec’s assemblies and cost database

    + Maintain pricing formulas and cost assemblies

    + Prepare polished proposals for general contractors and owners

    + Maintain and manage the bid calendar

    + Upon award: export budgets, create purchase orders, request quotes, and coordinate with construction administrators

    Requirements

    + 3–4 years estimating experience in commercial painting, coatings, or finish trades

    + Strong proficiency with eTakeoff or similar takeoff software

    + Advanced user of Sage 100 Contractor or comparable estimating platform

    + Comfortable with digital files, structured folders, and AI-enhanced workflows

    + Detail-oriented, self-managed, and comfortable working in a small office environment

    + Seeking long-term growth in a company positioned to expand over the next decade

    + Compensation & Opportunity

    + Starting salary: $60,000 – $75,000 depending on qualifications and technical fluency

    + Significant opportunity to grow into an ownership-track role
