Customer Engagement (CE) is part of the Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences (DX). We connect consumers to the place where dreams come true through the development of holistic, audience-focused, data-driven communication plans across offline, digital and direct relationship channels.
The CE Budget Management team is seeking a seasoned team leader to support the critical budgeting functions for DX businesses. As a CE Budget Manager, you will serve as a vital liaison between the Global Marketing teams and various Finance teams ensuring the accurate, effective and efficient administration of a variety of budgetary tasks.
This team provides strategic financial and analytical leadership for the Customer Engagement team, executing with excellence via strong partnerships and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished professional with proven financial experience, the ability to lead a diverse team of Cast Members in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, who can multi-task, challenge assumptions and make recommendations to the team, partners and senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the budget management, tracking, and processing of DX annual budgets within forecast of Finance guidance against monthly, quarterly, and annual finance submissions
+ Serve as key lead for budget responsibilities to provide strategic financial and analytical leadership and guidance to the CE and broader DX organization
+ Provide leadership and guidance to team of 5+ cast who manage and process all CE invoices for both agency and internally placed media, as well as internal program expenditures
+ Lead the integration of TWDC, DX, and CE-specific budget management systems (i.e. SAP, Coupa) to ensure adherence to financial policies and efficiencies within current process to maximize invoice & PO volume
+ Support the development of annual long-term and operating plans (LTP & AOP) for budgetary tracking
+ Present and communicate budget updates, progress, and tracking effectively to leadership and senior executives, including overseeing the annual PO process for senior executive approvals
+ Lead response to internal or corporate financial audits on program spends, processes, and compliance for Customer Engagement
+ Proactively identify improvements to existing processes and develop new processes to further improve overall efficiencies
Basic Qualifications:
+ 10+ years work experience, Minimum of 7 years of experience with growing responsibility in Finance/Accounting or Business Development
+ Expert experience in large data sets and Excel formulas
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience communicating with team members at all levels, including senior management
+ Demonstrated ability to drive results through a proactive approach to problem solving, strong detail orientation, and great partnership skills
+ Experience working in a collaborative environment with internal partners, 3rd party vendors, and agencies
+ Proven ability to work with a sense of urgency and curiosity in fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Demonstrated analytical ability and strong computer/systems skills. Proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required
+ Exposure to other enterprise collaboration tools, such as Smartsheets and Workfront
Required Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business/Marketing preferred or related fields
