Highly organized and deeply collaborative, the Marketing Strategy Associate Manager (Disney+) will help lead the development and management of content marketing campaigns, inclusive of global originals, sports, and live events. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional teams, streamlining communication, and elevating the efficiency and impact of global Disney+ marketing initiatives. With a focus on building strong relationships and aligning efforts & priorities, this role will ensure Disney+ titles are supported across all Disney+ brand touchpoints.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy (Disney+) - Content Strategy and Marketing, this role will partner closely with content and strategy teams and the broader Disney+ cross-functional teams —serving as a central point of coordination and content expertise.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an executional leader—able to see the big picture while expertly managing the details that bring it to life. This person will need to be extremely detail oriented and should thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the Senior Manager in working with Studio, ESPN, and Originals teams to help with launch strategies for original series and films, making sure they align with platform goals and brand priorities.
+ Serve as the connective tissue between content and marketing, ensuring messaging, creative assets, and positioning are cohesive.
+ Assist with the planning and execution of key title planning milestones including content share-outs and strategic discussions.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from different teams across The Walt Disney Company to ensure cohesion across all marketing campaigns.
+ Maintain transparent and consistent communication across Disney+ internal marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of marketing efforts.
+ Help produce and present comprehensive campaign presentations and recaps.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferably a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Film, or related field.
+ At least 3 years of experience in entertainment marketing or content strategy.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure successful interactions, strong working relationships and the ability to interface with varied levels of management, peers, and partners across varying teams.
+ Comfortable supporting multiple projects at once, staying flexible with shifting priorities, and remaining calm in fast-paced or uncertain situations.
+ Excellent decision-making and communication skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact marketing initiatives.
+ Strong presentation skills –creating clear narrative within a presentation and development of presentation decks.
+ Passion for innovation and storytelling—especially in new formats and digital experiences.
+ Basic understanding of how SVOD services work, with some exposure to marketing areas like awareness, engagement, and acquisition.
+ A can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to be proactive and get things done.
The hiring range for this position in NYC, NY is $98,600 - $132,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
