Position Summary:

The Lead Event Cleaner plays a critical role in ensuring the stadium remains clean, safe, and welcoming before, during, and after events. This position oversees a team of event cleaners, coordinates cleaning tasks, and ensures that all areas of the stadium meet cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading janitorial teams in high-traffic environments.

**Pay:** $21.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supervise and coordinate the work of event cleaning staff during stadium events.

+ Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of designated areas.

+ Conduct pre- and post-event inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

+ Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs during events (e.g., spills, restroom maintenance).

+ Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any issues or shortages.

+ Train new event cleaners on procedures, safety protocols, and stadium policies.

+ Communicate effectively with the Janitorial Supervisor and other departments.

+ Maintain logs of completed tasks, incidents, and supply usage.

+ Assist with setup and breakdown of cleaning stations and equipment.

+ Promote a safe and respectful working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ 2+ years of janitorial or custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

+ Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

+ Experience in stadiums, arenas, or large venues preferred.

Working Conditions:

+ Physically demanding role; requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.

+ Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

+ Fast-paced environment, especially during games and special events.
